From 21rd March to 12th May 2023 the Keukenhof opens it's doors again to show visitors from around the world it's splendour. It is the season in which the tulip and other bulb flower come to bloom. The park is one of the main attractions in Holland and visitors give it high ratings.

Zaanse Schans is a neighbourhood of Zaandam, a town not far from Amsterdam. It has a collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses. From 1961 to 1974 old buildings from all over the Zaanstreek were relocated.

The access for the open air museum is free, the wooden houses are mainly normal living houses. Most of the windmills can be visited for a small fee.
Volendam is a popular tourist attraction in the Netherlands, well known for its old fishing boats and the traditional clothing still worn by some residents. The women's costume of Volendam, with its high, pointed bonnet, is one of the most recognizable of the Dutch traditional costumes, and is often featured on tourist postcards and posters. If you fancy getting your photograph taken wearing the typical Volendam dress that is possible. It makes a truely great souvenir.

Giethoorn is a village in the NorthEast of the Netherlands. It has been an inspiration for poets, writers and painters.
